None of this is on point, which is the comparison of the way we waged war versus the use of nukes.

Apart from that, your idyll is ludicrous. It has been estimated that about half a million children died due to the sanctions regime, which was crucial to containment, and for which the oil for food/medicine program was developed, only to be abused by Saddam. Additionally, even teens were sometimes grabbed up by the regime to languish in torture chambers or jails, or to be executed. At present, it is the fault of the insurgents that things remain so dangerous. On more than one poll, the majority of Iraqis has expressed the opinion that the overthrow of Saddam was worth it.
