Very neat package, complete with cables, adapter,2 cables, and a CD containing Startup instructions

How big is the damn power supply?

I just read about SPA. Sounds like it may be the solution for my wife, who would love a 4x6 print of the thousands of digital photos we've taken of the kids. She told me her biggest concern is that there is a safe archive for these photos. She said that if there is an easy way to display them on the TV, that would be an acceptable substitute to holding the prints in her hand or an album. So I immediately tried to order SPA from Amazon, but they don't even carry it yet. Then I tried to order it from Sandisk's web site, but they told me it was back-ordered and referred me to Newegg, which does not have it yet. Finally I orederd it over the phone from Circuit City's call center in India. $44.95 with free standard delivery less a $10 rebate. That is the same price, incidentaly, as I got a 1 GB Sandisk CF card from Fry's last week.

I have never owned Sandisk stock, so I decided it was time to take a look. I liked what I saw. Selling at 12x free cash flow with $8.50 a share in cash, this is one cheap stock. Sure competition is worrisome, but if these guys can come up with products like SPA that will drive demand for their flash products, maybe this will turn out to be the audiovisual iPod that my wife has been waiting for. I hope so, because I just bought 300 shares of SNDK stock.<g>
