I've done pretty well with them, but mostly on timing, have been selling, reentering on a trading basis, selling etc. For example I bought most my MNG below a dollar, sold half at 1.42, bought it back at 1.24, sold at 1.48, but barely missed getting back at 1.33. Amazingly there hasn't been a munch or takeover all year, so I guess the majors are just going to run out of product by the end of the decade. Sector really need a munch, because the junior managements are by and large rather poor about shareholder value issues. I'm getting so that I consider most if not all mining companies from juniors to majors shrinking junk companies, run by sublime to ridiculous managements. Have to tell ya, I have to hold my nose any more to play them, because of the rancid decaying smell.
