Actually Richard Re SAW .This is the news I was referring to.
And yes I was aware of the financings this year.
Was it through mere good fortune that SAW appears to finally have stumbled into something that will allow them to grow substantially instead of merely bumping along over the years?
Or perhaps they have been aware of this area and wanted to proceed slowly in order to acquire more lands?

SAWTOOTH INTERNATIONAL RESOURCES INC. REPORTS DRAMATIC DRILLING SUCCESS

Sawtooth International Resources Inc. has completed six wells of a planned 10-well drilling program in the Redwater/Fort Saskatchewan area of Alberta. In total, the company has drill stem tested and/or production tested in excess of 20 million cubic feet per day from the completed wells. Additional lands have been acquired in the area expanding the company's land position to 30 sections. Ten additional drilling locations have been identified with drilling to resume immediately. A three-dimensional seismic program is also being undertaken to identify additional prospects.

Sawtooth has targeted a year-end exit rate of 1,150 barrels of oil equivalent per day. Tie-ins are expected to be completed prior to year-end. The company exited 2003 with production of 240 barrels of oil equivalent per day.
