In response to your suggestion that foreign investors should fly the coop, here's a quote from a good source. (If anyone can see why it is irrelevant here I sure would appreciate their pointing it out ).

"....... currency fluctuations are not a problem. We learned this in ARGENTINA. We were investing in ARGENTINA in late 1987 and early 1988, and of course a lot of people said "Aren't you worried about the currency?". We said no, because by buying assets we're protecting ourselves - just like the local investors are protecting themselves. (Mobius)

You post some good articles and thoughts. But I for one will not read Mauldin because what he says in 20-30 paragraphs could be said in 3 or 4. He believes the more he says the more value his words have. <ng>
