Everyone's opinion of Condi Rice's intellectual capacity is purely their own. Maybe people who are not very smart think she is brilliant. Maybe conservatives give her more credit than liberals do. My own opinion is based on sitting through several long speeches she has given over time, most of which I watched on C-Span. One was an address she gave at Stanford. She simply didn't impress me very much. I am just attracted to people who express things in a more complex, interesting and less rigid way. I also think she wasn't a very effective national security advisor. You may recall that 911 happened on her watch. But definitely this is all subjective. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Here is another opinion sort of like mine that I found on the web. I am not the only person who has wondered about her, certainly. dailykos.net
