You see they just cut jobs that people can see and react to emotionally, like police, crossing guards. They do this to prep the people for tax increases. They never cut upper management and people in the gov. office buildings. DC schools have like 80,000 workers only about 20k are teachers. They have something like three superintendents for eac teacher. It's just workfare. My wife years ago work for a county gov. that had 10 people in her dept. only two did any work.
