Wow, that is a great idea.

One of our members who sent a lot of stockings said her postal bill on one box was $50.00. Her box was very heavy. She really had a lot in hers. She just lost her husband and said this was a great way to honor him. He was very patriotic. She is having a very hard time living without him. Yes, I can believe that.

To send my stocking and all that I included for priority mail was $14.00. I gladly paid that to make sure my soldier got his package on time. We had to include our names and addresses in each mailing and I am looking forward to hearing from my recipient. I support a lot of charities, but I just felt so good about being in Operation Santa Stocking. I am hoping my soldier will tell me what he appreciated most and my decision for next year will be based on that information.
