Yes, I did want to be an archaeologist. I really loved all my anthropology and archaeology courses in college, but at the same time I realized that I wanted children and I think that is fairly hard to incorporate into a life digging in remote areas. Unless you are the Leakeys, of course.

But I am pretty good at digging through a couple of inches of household dust to find a missing sock or earring!
