It's not 15 or 16 groups. It's the I go to the store 3 times a week. Drop money in 15 times and get the dead stare when I don't drop on the 16th time.

Once upon a time I used to see vets with little flags and little red poppies, but only around Veterans Day and Flag Day.

Right with the flags. Nearly right with the poppies.

The red poppies are a Memorial Day thing. They are worn in honor of those who died serving the nation during war.

The collections taken by those Vets who sell the poppies are used to support severely combat wounded veterans.
