I realize that drug dealers driving BMWs and killing people is EXTREMELY annoying. However, in order to minimize that, you would have to make sure that all poor black women have very good prenatal medical care, that disadvantaged preschoolers go to Headstart, that absolutely no blacks go to school hungry (it is impossible to concentrate or learn), that when families are full of abuse and neglect babies and children are removed promptly and ADOPTED, not left to linger in horrid foster care, and that parent education classes be mandatory for all pregnant women and their partners.

You would also have to somehow ensure that everyone gets job training, that there are actual family wage jobs in abundance, free drug treatment is available on demand, etc.

Black children living in ghettos see despair all around them. In the middle of that, they notice that drug dealing is the lucrative money source. Drug dealers have high status and beautiful cars. This is a distorted value system, but the truth is that until we can replace that model by a huge amount of social engineering, it is a logical success path for black children who do not have middle class models of studying hard and getting a good job.

It's all quite simple--we can spend the money upfront to try to level the playing field, which would take generations but would be a kind and decent and Christian thing to do, or we can take our chances and just hope that our police state will protect most of us from becoming victims.
