bg,

Sorry, I didn't mean just on the shed. Read some of the other popular threads and some long time gold supporters are thinking we take a pause.

As for SA miners, I have no comments to offer. I avoid the SA miners as a rule.

POG at a 16 year high. I guess we have to ask why? And is that "why" coming to end of its trend soon? I do not think so.

As for short term, as in 2 weeks, that is not something I want to try and trade. I'm often right, but just early or late -g- So sometimes its best for me to park it and do nothing besides maintain my original core position. I have been adding miners post Nov 3, and I plan to continue to do this. I also have been buying a few poots and will go short when I see a break starting. Home builders, autos, retail, maybe some financials (but I'm not sure about them yet).

They are not going to save the dollar. Its game over for a good long time. And long term 2-10 years, the mountain of debt will provide significant downward pressure on poor Nemo that gold will do very well.

Medium term I may trade out of some miners and my HUI index, but that is many months away. Like many here at SI, I'm watching the action in this new gold ETF. This ETF could be one of the best things for gold in years, except of course Greenspan and Bush. Those two are golds aces in the hole.
