Iran threatens to "annihilate" Israel. Israel threatens to stop Iran's nuclear program.

To you, these are doubtless equivalent. Are you capable of noticing that Israel has never announced its wishes to nuke Tehran, because it doesn't have any? That Israeli missiles are not paraded with "Death to Iran" on them?

The death threats are coming in one direction only. From Israel you get responses to the death threats.

That is the difference, for those not predisposed to blame everything bad on Israel.
