That is all so sweet, Ish. I always wondered about hooking fish for sport and then throwing them back. I read that a lot of them die anyway, and it is horribly traumatic for them. Of course, I never understood what was so SPORTING (horrible concept really, in general) about men matching their wits with fish, anyway. I do understand how peaceful it is to hang out and watch water go by. In fact, I was reading an old cookbook today, from the Ananda vegetarian cooperative in northern California, and my eye caught this little rhyme: Leave home in the sunshine: Dance through a meadow-- Or sit by a stream and just be.
