Nadine, I think Alexander was bi-sexual, instead of totally gay. In those times, many Greeks, Romans, Egyptians, Persians, and Arabs, were inclined in that direction. Why, I cannot fathom.

From the reviews, it appears that Stone has feminized Alexander, which I think is weird. Stone must be straight, without many gay friends, if he thinks that gay men are all effeminate.

It sounds like Stone has stuck to history this time around.

The Greeks sure don't think so.They are madder than hell. I have read that Stone really went strong on the M/M sex scenes. Going for shock value, I guess.

In any case, the critic's word is that this "sandal and sword" movie is a stinker.
