I do invert it when looking for tops or bottoms, yes... I would suggest you take the center of the spiral and place it on a high or low in the past, and then tinker around with it... I can answer your questions, but I would much prefer that you spend lots of time with it yourself, the joy of discovery will be well worth it once you stumble upon it and realize what you have... spin it around over the chart, play with it, see what it does, take your time with it...
