In a Monetarist economy the following statement is true.

"a growing economy should be accompanied by a growing money supply"

This is not necessarily true of MZM, especially over shorter periods of time.

By using MZM (rather than M1 M2 or M3) to try to assert a lack of cause for a further decline in the dollar, Faber's argument becomes so tenuous as to be nearly wrong.

If I theoretically met Faber for dinner tonight, I'm sure we would both laugh about it.
