Well you have a good point. The spread is significant compared to GLD and can be important for many, like day traders or position traders. Sincer these persons are short/intermediate participant the fundamentals (including its governance) of GLD are not too important. But they become very important to long term investors and savers. That is why I just wanted to alert you to those fundamentals.

Since I buy on a monthly basis at fixed date. In that sense, I find the spread completely irrelevant especially that it is very competitive with other ways of buying allocated bullion.
