I've bookmarked that so I can give it the time necessary tonight. I can see though that I will be able to do some shopping and sending from this list. Thank you. One that has also occurred to me Mike is the reserve people that have been called up making perhaps less then 1/2 of what they were making before being called up. I wonder if there is a way to financially help them as I'm sure there are many getting into financial stress due to this call up.

It's been a long time since I was a military wife separated from my husband. It was during the sixties. He called me twice a week for the year we were apart and we talked as long as we wanted, although it was always at some ghastly hour. I no longer remember the details but it had something to do with using military lines for personal calls during slack time. A military operator would make the connection. Does this not occur any more?
