Now how to go about saying this to you, Ed, bilow and NC. I dont think any of you is more caring about our servicemen than the other. An aggressive policy in iraq of course involves greater sacrifice but there may be a time when you or Ed is on the more aggressive side and I would think that you folks wouldnt want to be lableled as heartless. You havent attacked anyone that way so i write to you instead of the others. I think the level of violence is part of fp, but if the choice is between policy A and policy B and one is more violent than the other, the folks proposing the more violent alternative are not at all ignorant of the consequences or less caring. Folks against iraq should not automatically consider the other side as bloodthirsty and uncaring. Much like the anti war folks point out that anti-iraq folks are not anti-american. Some on either side do fit the descriptions but not NC on casualties and certainly not you on being unpatriotic. Hope this made some sense. Usually when i write from the heart i usually put my foot in my mouth. mike
