"...think about death OR events of Sept 11"

Werent you in NY that day too? To me getting over 9/11 would be like getting over Pearl Harbor for another generation. To me it was an unprovoked attack regardless of what i read to the contrary, sometimes on this thread. As an American and as a Jew i find it hard to like arabs. If i remember posts of yours, you seemed to have a prejudice there as well. By the way I work very hard not to let my prejudices get in the way of what i think is the right thing to do in terms of policy or in my dealing with arab americans. I have fought prejudice and racism all my life and I do not think what has befalled the arab peoples is genetic or biologically determined in any way. It is not bad genes but bad leaders, colonialism and backward thinking radical islam that has failed these folks. And my prejudice has little or nothing to do with Islam which i think will be the ultimate cure of the problem, if a cure is ever found. What it does have to do with is a series of events starting at the Munich Olympics and continuing thru 9/11 and today. I refuse to buy into the american or israel is always wrong hysteria that sometimes affects some posters here. Yes mistakes have been made by both nations.
I don't put you in that category although we have fundamental differences. Mike
