You're missing my point entirely. I care just as much that Clinton snorted coke as that Bush did. I was repulsed by the whole Clinton sex scandal, and I think Hillary is totally corrupt. I think Condi Rice is going to be a horrible secretary of state. I also think John Kerry was fatally flawed and should never have been the Democratic nominee for president. I think that the Democrats' struggle to defend Clinton during the impeachment period robbed the Democratic party of the moral high ground.

What interests me is moving beyond the knee-jerk debate we see here all the time, where the right-wingers are blindly defending their people, evidence be dammed in some cases, and the left-wingers--the ones who are not already totally fatigued by the fight--are just as biased and blinded.

I find all of that Sean Hannity-type of partisanship extremely boring. I like to think logically, and try to determine in my own mind what I think without being a loyalist to any one particular point of view. That more objective way of looking at all subjects is also the kind of discussion I enjoy the most.
