BOSTON BUS BRAWL
By malkin

Do you know where your kid's school bus is? In Beantown, city officials want to install GPS tracking devices to make sure unionized drivers aren't goofing off or endangering schoolchildren. Naturally, the ridiculous labor goons have turned this into a racial issue. The bus drivers are threatening a strike. Carpundit says, "Go for it:"

Yet another city union will realize that organized labor is not supposed to be a synonym for organized theft, and union jobs aren't lifetime contracts that allow the holders to demand their own choice of working conditions. In short, Boston can drive home its point that it won't be held in thrall to unions.
Or to race-card shakedown artists.

Marcelo Romero, a reporter with Santiago's newspaper La Cuarta, said: "All of us journalists agree that President Bush looked like a cowboy. It was total breach of protocol. I've seen a lot of John Wayne movies, and President Bush was definitely acting like a cowboy."

All of us Mqurices agree that Marcelo is a fool. I've seen a lot of journalist movies, and Marcelo is definitely acting like a journalist.

I haven't seen any pictures, but from the description, good for King George II. No mucking about - get in there and get the guy out. If the Chilean security people want a scrap, Bush might as well join in.

Since when did journalists voting on anything make it true? It's like "Most climatologists agree that we are in the midst of virulent global warming and therefore it's true". Facts aren't subject to voting. Juries vote on things, such as whether a glove fits or not. Electorates vote on whether things are true such as "Did Saddam fly an aircraft into the Twin Towers". Scientists might vote on whether Earth is flat or not, but the vote doesn't make it so.

Journalists voting is a joke. That's as bad as politicians voting for what's a good idea.

Also, why on Earth would Marcelo have seen a lot of John Wayne movies? Has he not got something better to do? Probably he actually hasn't seen any and is making that up, as journalists do make things up. Interviewing their keyboard is the easiest way to get a good story.

Marcelo, get a real job!
