Cost benefit analysis on whether we go to war or not. There are those who feel no war meets that test. Ed, i would expect, is not in that group. It is really crass to talk about human life as part of cost benefit analysis but we have no choice. Thats why i defended you on relating casualties to our effort. Every death is most painful but we cant make decisions based solely on those numbers. There is far more to it and its not irrepsonsible to say cost is reasonable so far if thats what you think. Come January, i will be doing a review. Mike
