<3 or more viable parties. Hey, obviously with Ross Perot, it happened> Why mention Perot in the same context as <3 or more viable parties>?? Or are you pointing to the fact that the US presidential elections are the only ones which has a theoretical possibility to break the 2-party catch-22?? While the catch-22 2-party deadlock is based on local (single-district-winner-takes-all) elections?? Plus campaign financing, access to ballots, gerrymandering, the FEC, etc (making up the perfect catch-22)
