Bob, I had forgotten the names of Pat's low-end wines. Refrigerator White? Too funny! In those years I was more of a white-winer, so I probably never tasted his cabs. I am now more of a a red-winer, preferring zins, cabs, and merlots (in that order).

Yes, Pat's winery did go BK several years ago, as did many Napa/Sonoma (and other) vineyards. Most notable among those was probably Korvell. I remember picking up some really terrific wines then and at sinfully cheap prices, but with sadness at what was gone.

Pat may have run for Prexy again in 1972 and 1976. I don't remember. Probably because the sequels usually fall short of the originals, and "The Comedy Smothers Brothers Hour" was long gone from the airways by then. -Holly
