Yes, it is always surprising to me how clear the turning points become after applying the spiral, but the reason the spiral works at all is because prices themselves move over the chart in perfect fib spiral formation... once prices break with formation, the market turns the other way... also, once the spiral wall goes vertical, prices have no choice but to stop moving higher or lower, whichever the case may be...

To find the top of a rally, I use the spiral radiating in a counter clockwise pattern, and to find bottoms, I use the spiral radiating in a clockwise pattern...
