He was not a prisoner. He was a wounded murdering terrorist, or in your speak, an insurgent. He is responsible for killing Americans. He rolled the dice on participating in the "insurgency" which is keeping the country of Iraq from becoming independent and free and having elections. He lost on the roll of the die. If they'd knock it off, we'd leave. Simple concept, eh?

I read the story on Sites web addy. He is torn between doing his duty to the press and doing his duty to the marines who he is touring with and who are keeping his butt safe. He should have done a bit more soul searching and maybe published this later when it would not fan the flames higher. That way he could come clean with himself and still feel like he did his job.

Of course I would come to the Marines' defense first. Ya know that silly old adage, innocent until proven guilty . I happen to be a firm believer in that. Contrary to your opinion, we do not know the details and we will not until this young marine goes through his day in court. So, until then, video "evidence" and a reporters words notwithstanding, my thoughts and support are for this marine.

You can have your witch hunt and burning at the stake maybe after he comes home, after he has again saved other Americans serving from possible death by "dead" terrorists.

I don't consider your position correct. You are way too easy and happy to convict this guy.
