Some of the articles are calling the SKS an "assault rifle". That is false. An assault rifle is a machine gun, that has a button or switch to change from semi-auto fire to fully automatic. Previous articles and thousands of them put out by anti-gunners have called the SKS an "assault weapon" under the old 1994 law banning manufacture of "assault weapons". This is also false as the SKS does not have a detachable magazine. In addition, every single anti-gunner article I've seen to date regarding SKS rifles has been 100% that these rifles have no hunting purpose whatsover. This is the first article to dismiss that. The SKS fires a short, low powered (compared to full size rifle ammo) .30 caliber projectile, big enough for a deer but nothing bigger than that.

I think the killer is this has mental problems and I was sorry and surprised that another hunter didn't gun him down after the first shots.

What about it?

Are you rejoicing the fact that people got killed with an assault weapon?

Do you support this jackoffs right to violate property laws?

Do you think this trespasser has more rights than those who actually owned the ground?

Do you support this whack job violating the hunting laws with more than a 10 shot clip in a weapon?

What should I think of your post? You are secretly gleeful that 6 (as of this morning) people got killed by this sick psycho bastard and now you whack job anti-gunners get to run around demanding more bans?

What is the possible point of your post other than to use death of innocents as fuel for your incorrect opinions about guns? Do you expect those of us who respect the Second Amendment and want it left alone to come to the aid of this sick killer? Do you want us to decry his weapon of choice?

What is that you think you are proving? What point do you think you are making when someone was trespassing, got called on it, then he shot and killed 6 of the 8 people who had a hunting tradition on this ground for years?

shepard. Instead of wasting your time trying to find things to condemn your own country about such as who buys Iraq oil you should be spending some time watching what the enemy may be doing in your own backyard.

City gives break to terror-related mosque?
Muslim group buys land from government for fraction of value
November 23, 2004

A huge mosque set to be built in Boston is raising eyebrows for two reasons: its link to terror, and the fact the city government sold the land for the project at a fraction of its value.

The 60,000-square-foot Islamic Cultural Center will cost $22 million, according to a report by the Christian Broadcasting Network.

The Islamic Society of Boston, which is overseeing the project, allegedly has ties to radical Islam, with its founder, Abdurahman Alamoudi, sitting in federal prison after pleading guilty to charges related to a plot by Moammar Gadhafi to assassinate Crown Prince Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, CBN reported.

Another figure tied to the organization, Wahabbi cleric Dr. Yusef al-Qaradawi, has urged Iraqi Muslims to kill American soldiers and has praised Palestinian suicide bombers.

Last summer, British Prime Minister Tony Blair condemned al-Qaradawi, who was nearly barred from entering the UK, the network reported.

Said Blair, "Let me make it absolutely clear. We want nothing to do with people who support suicide bombers in Palestine or elsewhere, or support terrorism."

In 1995, al-Qaradawi told his followers, "We will conquer Europe, we will conquer America!" The Islamic Society of Boston says listing al-Qaradawi as a director was an "administrative oversight' which, it says, "was subsequently corrected,' CBN reported.

Dennis Hale, a Boston College professor, is pressuring the organization to admit its ties to radical Islam.

"This is a mosque that combines Wahabbi theology, Muslim Brotherhood politics and lots of money," he told the network, "and that's a very dangerous combination. Everywhere in the world where that's been found, bad things happened."

According to the report, the city of Boston is concerned about neither terror ties nor the fact the bulk of the money to build has come from private individuals in Saudi Arabia.

In fact, the city's redevelopment authority sold the society the land for the mosque for between one-quarter and one-half of its true value, CBN reported.

"The City of Boston sold land to the mosque for $175,000," real estate developer Steven Cohen explained to the network. "This land was worth some place between $450,000 and $1 million. This is a religious group that can raise $22 million from contributors in the Middle East. Why do they need financial assistance?

"So many citizens are asking the question, why does this mosque, which is preaching such abhorrent views, and has access to millions of dollars raised in Saudi Arabia, why is this mosque being subsidized by the city of Boston?"

A resident of Roxbury has filed a lawsuit, the network reported, contending the land sale violates the "separation of mosque and state."
