Is Russia core or gap? Would you consider their nuclear arsenal a problem? I sure as hell would.

Our "worst case" would be a "raid" on Iran. Take down their Military and Government enough so that we could search and destroy all possible nuke facilities. I think our best bet is diplomatic and media pressure. I agree the dissidents paint too rosy a scenario. But we have no other choices now.

Russia is core, and is not going to use a Nuke on us. Core countries will not start wars with each other anymore. They use them as a bulwark against being invaded or being hit by a gap country. Any Nuke arsenal is a potential problem, but only if someone else gets control of it. I don't see a Russian madman tossing nukes at us. The Russians just want to join us and get rich like the rest of the world.

I think our decision to stand up to Kim ll Soong and quit paying the danegeld is working. If we keep the pressure up, they are going to crack, and it sure sounds like they are cracking now.

If Iran does go Nuclear, which they will unless we stop them, Israel is going to have to learn to live with it.
