All a stand does is allow you to shoot over longer distances. It's not a lot different than a scope. I don't think the topic would have come up at all had someone not implied these hunters deserved to die since they were hunting. That just isn't the case. It's not about morals.....a remark like that is about humanity. While some people find hunting distasteful human life is, always has been and forever will be more precious than ANY animal. What happened up here is unthinkable and was carried out by someone who was clearly psychotic
