Your post seems really militaristic--"The US is one nation and it belongs to the people willing to fight for it." Of course it was militaristic. I'm willing to meet any secessionist on the battlefield and fight to the death as my gg grandparents did. That's what secession would take - the "blue" folks defeating the "red" folks on the battlefield. what really is wrong with dividing the whole mess up? Because the US is one country. If "blue" folks don't want to live with "red" ones they can emigrate to another country. That we'll allow. The U.S. chose to side with zionist Israel in the Middle East, and decades later Palestinian resentment has bred region-wide terrorism that may be about to engulf the entire world. Al Qaeda rose out of the Palestinian injustice,.. Europeans have a problem with the Muslims in their midst (see recent events there like the murder of Theo Van Gogh). Russia has a problem with Muslims in Chechnya. Chinese have a violent Muslim problem too. Buddhist Thailand has a problem with Muslim terrorists. So does the Philippines. And the Christian minority in Indonesia. And the Christians in Nigeria and the Sudan. Would all these problems would go away if the world just let the Muslims exterminate the Israelis? I think it would encourage more Islamist savagery. We have no good choice but to recognize it and resist with force as needed.
