"Ominous forecast for the US trade deficit". This despite "free trade" a North American slogan. It seems to mean submit to US trade domination. For example Canada must not discriminate against US products but Canadian beef,soft wood,steel, sugar beets etc. either cannot go into the US at all or have a tiny quota or a prohibitive duty. Nonetheless, because of oil and gas, absolute necessities, Mexico and Canada have finally a trade surplus with the US.
