If by "casualty" you mean "KIA", yes, my comment was that we would be stuck in Iraq until we had thousands of KIA there. I still think that this is about the right number, in that swing opinion like your own will not force us out of Iraq until there is a clear majority demanding it.

As long as the average person of mediocre intelligence thinks that it's reasonable to expect a victory in Iraq, we are stuck there. Most people aren't too sharp at thinking, so there you have it, stuck in the quagmire.
