Nope! My bank would allocate "one" bullion, not number xxxx, good for delivery stamped by "trusted assayer".
If I take delivery, they first will try to deliver the doubtfull ones. (Not me actually, I warned I would not try to get a subponea, but would send some biker friends instead to take delivery <vbg>).
On the place of Brussels, I know of 2 PM dealers I can do business with: cash against coin or bullions, and they are not banks, certainly not bullion banks.
Further, I can buy gold at wholesale prices (much lower than bullion) in Antwerp, but will have to pay the assay if I want to sell.
Or buy (forgot the name) a chain of gold of which each element weights exactly one gram of pure gold. Used for small change in the industry, no assay needed.
