I sympathize with the Palestinians. I wish they had better leaders, and parents who looked out for their children, rather than encouraging them to throw rocks at Israeli troops or become kamikaze martyrs. I wish that Arafat had not siphoned off billions that might have eased their lives. I wish that they had not been used as pawns by the Arab Powers to keep Israel as a front burner issue around which to rally the masses. I wish that they would renounce terrorism and make a deal, and enjoy rehabilitative aid pouring in......
