Show me one moderate group to work with, and I will find it credible that the option existed. Israelis looked for moderates to deal with, before accepting Arafat, but they have to have a following and survive radical attacks. Sistani is one of those who fits the bill in Iraq. Point out anyone like that on the West Bank.
