If Vang's side of the story is true, there should be 21 casings and 2 rifles that were recently fired. If not, then only 20 rounds and 1 recently-fired gun. That should be relatively easy for the forensics experts to figure out.

The 'racial slurs' part probably wouldn't surprise me, but I don't think that that alone is enough for a 'self-defense' argument.
