"Anyway, here's Vang's first-hand account"

Sorry, but I don't give much weight to a version of events
from someone who slaughtered 6 & wounded 2. The man chased
them down & some were shot in the back.

He obviously was on private property - no tree stands are
allowed on public land. This guy was an avid hunter who has
had problems in the past relating to hunting. He has had
domestic abuse problems & threatened to shoot his wife (all
from news accounts).

Yes there "may" have been one gun among the 8 others at some
point.

I find it highly unlikely that the initial group (that may
have been unarmed) dared to hurl racial slurs to someone from
a group of people that have known problems with recognizing
property rights, ET AL, who was obviously trespassing & had a
loaded semi-automatic rifle.

Something just doesn't add up with the shooters story.

Nothing excuses what he did. NOTHING!

I will note that the media is all over the murderer's version
of events. I hope they don't make him a victim due to their
blind liberal bias.

I guess the forensics will tell the story. Frankly, I think the guy is full of it and is fabricating in a vain attempt to avoid a life sentence. Wisconsin, after all, does not have the death penalty. If this had happened in Washington State, we'd be looking at an aggravated murder charge, with the sentence being either death or life w/o parole.
