Well, I wouldn't call the President a fundamentalist, and he's the one who uttered that word.

It's very unlikely that any fundamentalist faction will gain permanent power over our country. I would like to see the bimodal distribution of political views regress to the unimodal distribution at the center. We had such an arrangement not that long ago. It was better then.
