How can they? It doesn't touch them, it doesn't mean anything to them. It's all so clinical for the vast majority. And the saddest part is, it's so unecessary.

That's exactly right. I thought most people saw the wrongness of the Vietnamese War but there is a least a sizeable minority who don't. That's why it was payback time for John Kerry.

And it reflects the schism in thinking in this country. Its not just about Iraq or its not just 2004 or its not just about 9/11......instead, its two diametrically different ways of seeing the same scenario. Apparently, its been going on for decades if not centuries.
