I don't recall anything in the press about such behavior. Perhaps I missed it. Doesn't sound like him, though.

I recall the details now that you remind me. Thanks.

Capital punishment is one issue that I'm ambivalent on in some respects. I'm coming to the view that the social strife that it causes isn't justified by the benefits.

On one hand, some people are redeemable. Like Karla Faye Tucker, maybe. Some aren't, like Henry Lee Lucas, maybe. I have no facts to support either position.

Some people simply aren't fit to live in civilized society.

What to do with them?

I don't know. I'm glad I'm not in charge of figuring it out.

I would rather see incorrigible criminals permanently out of circulation. If capital punishment is so objectionable that many people simply can't accept it, I'm willing to go for the alternative as long as the bad guys never get out.

I apologize for tossing out another stressful topic and then leaving, because that's what I'm going to do.

See you all after Thanksgiving.

Thank you for posting this E,

Of which I excerpt.

<<but that he mocked the condemned woman publicly, to Talk Magazine, pursing his lips and whimpering as if in imitation of her, "Please don't kill me!">>

It is a good reminder of the character of the man who is now the president of the United States...

Of which a decent person can judge quickly and easily..:( to the character..
