I feel the same way about the Irish. I think they are more qualified to access bias against them. Ditto for the Italians and every other group.

I'll repeat my argument from the other day. Part of the reason why we have this political correctness mess is that we've takin your approach of allowing the victims to be the sole arbiters of what is offensive. What we need instead is a collaborative process to balance out the insensitivity and the oversensitivity. Our culture of victimization has exacerbated the oversensitivity problem by providing careers for those who coddle the oversensitive and use them for political and monetary gain.

We need a reasonable person standard to gauge such things, not the standard of either the insensitive bully or the oversensitive victim.
