Great stories, CB! Goooooooo, Nick! And your Dad's story sounds like the Thanksgiving my Mom and Dad had many people for dinner...it had been lovely...until the pie. I practiced with the cake decorator (metal in those years), and the slices looked terrific....Everyone sat down, fork into the pie....and youser......pinched mouths around the table. Yuk!! Mom forgot to put in the sugar. She never lived it down. The story always came up, every Thanksgiving.

Is there really a St. Ralph? I like him already! Especially the paper plates part for the rest of the weekend. But not on Turkey Day. That is as fancy as we can make it, while we surround the table in casual, but dressy outfits. Hopefully, all with elastic waistbands, just '';''in case'';'' we eat a bit too much....<ggg>

Totally agree with your Top 2 Thankful List!

even McDonald's isn't open in Baton Rouge on Thanksgiving!

I saw signs yesterday saying that K-Mart will be open on Thanksgiving. Sheesh. Anyway, we're heading up to CT, so Happy Thanksgiving (and St. Ralph's) to all!
