Well, you know, Bill, I really don't have the energy to start a gun argument now, but I must say (no surprise to you, probably) that I don't agree that the problem is hoodlums, not guns. I also think the situation in Switzerland is complicated, and I could use it as an argument against guns. In fact, I have. There was a rollicking good gun argument at Feelies that went on and on and on several years ago. I don't feel like reading almost 90,000 posts to find it, but I am sure that it addressed all the issues . . . and that each side thought they won definitively, of course.
