we have to have a generator always ready to take over. Doesn't have to be that way forever. For example, we have friends -- Bruce and Cheryl -- who've been solar and off the grid for decades. Yes, they have a generator, but rarely use it. Every building is wired, and how, power tools and all. Some old pictures, don't know by whom: potkettleblack.com

BTW I usually charge for my consulting services....I'll settle for that lifetime Premium Plus thing you all were talking about (and if you check my Profile you'll see that that shouldn't tie you up for too long)......LOL
