Wind turbines on cars -- I like it. And don't forget the PV painted roof. Can I sell that extra power back to the grid if my car can't use all of it?

And if the car has to push through the wind no matter what you do, why not use some of that wind it's creating to charge the batteries for the electric motor?

Because if you mounted a fan or turbine on the car to capture the wind energy, the increased drag from the turbine would way more than offset the energy you would capture. There's no free lunch, alas.
