I have heard people say, about murderers (and even about soldiers, who are fighting against us) when they are killed, and there is discussion about their deaths "Well, at least they won't kill any more people", or "any more of the OUR side". I've even said it myself, once or twice, about particularly brutal killers, killed in shootouts with police.

So I understand where you are coming from. To you people who hunt down and kill animals are on a par with people who hunt down and kill humans. It's not a common view, as I'm sure you know (especially after the way you've been treated here, for expressing your opinion), but thank you for expressing yout opinion. The world needs a greater range of ideas(imo). Most people in America, and probably all over the world, treat the suffering of animals with less compassion than they would if they really knew all the suffering that is inflicted on animals (much as people are able to ignore the sufferings of people in Africa, because they just don't keep current on African events.)
