I do want to serve it warm. I'll do it early in the am. By early, we may mean different things. Is ten am early? Oh, I'm being unrealistic. Is eleven am early? I know there are times with smaller numbers than that but I forget what they are, I just get this dizzy feeling when I try to bring them to mind. The friends who are giving this Thanksgiving dinner are just down the road, so I could make this pie at one pm and that would be fine. We usually have TG dinner with the same family, a sort of second, or defacto extended, family, every year, but an illness of an uncle has taken them away to his house. I was SO glad to get other invitations so I won't have to stuff anything. Once I went to TG dinner at someone's house and they had a perfect traditional dinner but DIDN'T HAVE CRANBERRY SAUCE. They don't "like" it. What kind of people are they? Communists, probably. The horror, the horror.
