K, I believe you bring up a good point ... for there is another way.

There is a big difference between the variation of Unreal Tournament "Last Man Standing" vs "Death Match", as there are at least two equivalent plays in the financial market.

"Death Match" can only be won by making the most kills within a set time with least hurt to self; whereas

"Last Man Standing" can be won by first playing dead, preferably in a dark corner somewhere, or go "camping" planetunreal.com ; eventually, when the time is right, rise to kill the second last man standing :0)

Withdrawing completely to a mix of currencies and physical gold may be the same as 'playing dead', and this girly man approach may simply be astute. Going camping exposes one to danger. But both approaches are superior to simply charging into the maelstrom of equity slaughter.
